Our Lady Mother of Jesus in her virginity is the reference to all religious women. She offers Religious the model of Holiness they strive for. So, we focus on her as the image of what we aim at in our missionary endeavor. We see in her the model of co-operation with Christ the Savior for the Salvation of the world. Like Saint Therese, we love Mary the Mother of Jesus and our mother. We admire in a special way her simplicity, her spirit of faith, her silence, her recollection, and her virginity. We honor her in the Mystery of the Immaculate Conception.

We are a congregation of Diocesan Right with temporary and perpetual vows. Our Founders chose Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus, patroness of missionaries as our principal patroness. We cultivate a special devotion to her and imitate her faith, love, trust, humility and spirit of self-sacrifice. Our consecration to God in view of spreading Christ’s Kingdom, is affected by our love for Our Lady. We take from Therese a Carmelite, the spirit of prayer and recollection; and we follow in her religious life a Way of Spiritual Childhood, in which we are full of confidence in God, like a child in her father’s arms. Following Saint Theresa’s missionary spirit, we pray for priests and missionaries; and we work with love to spread the faith to the people we meet and work with.

We believe that vocation is a gift to be nurtured and tended in the fertile soil of Spiritual life. Therefore, we respect the moments of silence and prayer as special times we encounter Jesus, who seeks to draw us to the Loving Heart of God.
